THE STORY
Lucid was hired by used clothing recycler Planet Aid to help defeat an anti-competitive measure seeking to ban charitable clothing collection bins in California. Lucid employed rapid response to Sacramento, where we established an on-the-ground presence, held multiple press conferences, and secured placements in major media outlets including the Los Angeles Times and KABC. After leading the effort to scuttle the bill, we pivoted to explain the value of charitable collection bins by arranging media segments for Planet Aid nationwide.
