Selected work

Most of our work is confidential. Some of it has been on the record.

We are retained in the moments most companies and individuals never want to discuss publicly, and the vast majority of that work will never appear on a page like this. What follows is a sample of engagements that are already part of the public record.

Litigation & investigations

Ambassador R. James Woolsey

Special Counsel (Mueller) investigation

Few communications firms have ever guided a client through a Special Counsel investigation. We are one of them. When former CIA Director Ambassador R. James Woolsey was drawn into the Mueller investigation, we provided the strategic communications counsel — the press, the messaging, the reputational stakes.

Montel Williams
Media relations & promotion

We have represented broadcaster, entrepreneur, and veterans’ advocate Montel Williams for years — handling his ongoing media relations and promotion. From booking national appearances to shaping message and amplifying his long-running advocacy for veterans, this is the steady, day-to-day work of keeping a prominent public figure visible, credible, and on-message.

Ongoing media relations & promotion

Montel Williams
Crisis defense · regulatory

Separately, when New York regulators scrutinized MoneyMutual — a short-term-lending marketer Williams had endorsed — we led the crisis response. The 2015 settlement made no finding against Williams and imposed no penalty on him. Our work kept the focus on the facts, and on the broader question of access to small-dollar credit for people traditional banks won’t serve.

Planet Aid
Brand defense

When the nonprofit Planet Aid came under attack in the long-running fight over charitable clothing-donation bins — a turf war with much larger players, including Goodwill — we defended its brand and reputation in the press and the public square.

GiveForward
Technology · platform integrity

A pioneer in online crowdfunding, GiveForward helped families raise money in their hardest moments. We raised the profile of its fundraisers and helped the company tell the story of its trust-and-safety work — the platform-integrity features that protect donors and recipients alike.

When trust is the product, the communications has to earn it.

Dr. Brian Boxer Wachler
Medical-expert profile

We helped build a leading ophthalmologist into a nationally recognized medical authority, placing his expertise before national audiences on programs including CBS Evening News, the TODAY show, Good Morning America, and The Doctors.

It is a model for turning genuine expertise into trusted, national visibility.

Media relations & strategic counsel

Work we don’t discuss

The most important work rarely has a public footprint.

Much of what we do never appears on a page like this — by design. We are regularly retained for:

  • Crisis around criminal and civil litigation
  • Reputation management for executives and public figures
  • Issues management, before a problem becomes a crisis
  • Counsel for influencers and creators under fire
  • Guidance for people who become involuntarily viral
  • Political risk — for brands and individuals pulled into the discourse of the day

When discretion is the point, discretion is the work.

If you’re facing a high-stakes situation, let’s talk — in confidence.

Inquiries are private. We respond quickly.
