THE STORY
When doctors informed 35-year-old Jen Bulick that she had State 4 lung cancer, and only a few months to live, she decided to marry the love of her life, Jeff. They’d planned to just do something simple. But then, Bay Area Wedding Planner Erica Becks read Jen and Jeff’s story on an online wedding message board and wanted to help. Using inspiration from Jen’s “Dream Wedding Page” on Pinterest, Erica worked with over fifty local vendors to throw Jen a big Gatsby-style shindig . Jen, sadly, passed away several months after the ceremony, but with happy memories of a dream wedding come true.
RESULTS
After her work on Jen & Jeff’s dream wedding, Lucid positioned Erica Becks, founder of Erica Events–a wedding and event planning company based in California’s Bay Area—as an expert on wedding and event planning. Our media campaign resulted in major print, online, and television placements.
